I really loved doing this one. The contrast between the crosshatching and the coloured water worked out so well. I want to develop this idea a little further in the future, but I probably won’t.
A single tree in the middle of a clearing in a small first
A little sketch of a table in a classroom.
Mountains. I drew it while on a bus
Last drawing of 2016. I finished it right as the year ended, while listening to “Smile,” by Michael Jackson. It’s a cornflake, by the way.
Whispy drawing of a polar bear plush
I was the model for this one. It doesn’t really have a story, but i added some stuff just to make it interesting.
Female figure, done in prismacolor. I really loved the color of the skin, and tried to capture it as best I could.
A cat and its dog. Sketched lightly with red pencil, and then went over it with several different micron pens.
Torso study with red pencil. I don’t get much variety in tone with this pencil, but i like sketching with it, because it doesn’t smudge, or reflect light like graphite. The pencil was the main point, but i decided to add linework just to make it interesting.
Some more of that abstract type stuff I’ve been working on lately. I don’t do drugs, but this was definitely inspired by less trip art
